Wedding dates fill quickly, particularly in the spring and fall. Booking twelve to eighteen months in advance is recommended for peak season dates. If your date is sooner, reach out, and I will let you know what is available.

Yes, within reason. Before your wedding, you will have the opportunity to share a do-not-play list and any must-have songs, both of which I honor without exception. On the night itself, guest requests are evaluated against the energy and flow of the floor at that moment. A request that fits the room gets played. A request that would disrupt the floor or derail the emotional arc of the night gets held or redirected. Your preferences always take priority.

Yes. Shortening a first dance, starting at the chorus, running one track into the next, cutting a long intro out of an entrance song. That gets decided in the planning session and the work happens before your day. Not every idea comes together in a way that sounds good, though, and when one will not, I will tell you rather than hand you something that almost works.

After booking, you will receive access to a planning tool that lets you organize your music preferences, timeline, and event details at your own pace. We also schedule three planning sessions before your wedding: setting up the tool, a full two hour session a few months out, and a final check-in the week of. With the intro call before you book, that is four conversations and at least four hours.

Every wedding includes the booth, professional audio, and lit totems carrying moving heads. Beyond that there are two additions and they do different jobs. Uplighting places fixtures around the room to wash the walls with color, which makes a space look considered. The lighting upgrade is aimed at the dance floor itself so you can see the people on it, which matters most at venues that go dark once the sun does. Each is $400, and they are independent of each other.

Yes. Photo booths are supplied and quoted through Washburn Entertainment, and since your booking already runs through them, adding one is part of the same conversation rather than a second arrangement. Two of the booths come with a backdrop.

Yes, and there is no charge for it. A speaker in a courtyard, on a patio or out by a games area carries what is happening inside, so the guests who wanted air are still at your wedding rather than at a quieter one twenty feet away. It also means they hear the announcement that brings everyone back in for a toast or a first dance. Worth raising when we plan, because it is a decision about where your guests will be rather than about equipment.

In the unlikely event of a true emergency, I maintain relationships within the professional DJ community and would work to secure a qualified replacement at the same standard. This has never happened, but it is a fair question and you deserve a straight answer.

Me. I am the DJ who plans your wedding and the one in the room on the day: the intro call, the planning sessions, the timeline and the night itself are all mine. For weddings and corporate events my booking partner, Washburn Entertainment, handles the paperwork: the contract is with them, your payments go to them, and I am named in it as your DJ. They also supply the photo booths. Everything else is mine, including the equipment and my own insurance, with certificates sent to your venue on request.

Yes. Connect us and we sort it out between us, usually by email, so it does not come back through you. If your planner would rather talk it through on a call, I am glad to. And if none of that happens in advance, the day runs anyway: I arrive two and a half to three hours early and I have run enough weddings to handle the coordination on site.

Yes. I have experience programming music across a wide range of cultural traditions and can blend multiple musical identities into a cohesive arc for the night. If your celebration includes specific cultural music, share that during our consultation and I will make sure it is represented with care. Please note that my MC work is conducted in English.

Yes, and actively looking for them. I am based in the Finger Lakes and travel for weddings well outside it. Travel is worked out with your quote rather than set by a radius, so tell me where the wedding is and I will give you a number that includes getting there.
