Finger Lakes Weddings

A reception that is paced, not just played.

A great wedding isn’t loud. It’s intentional. From the moment your ceremony begins to the last song of the night, every musical decision is made with one goal: your celebration should feel natural, emotionally right, and entirely yours.

Every Phase of Your Day

Three rooms.
Three different jobs.

A ceremony, a cocktail hour, and a reception ask for completely different things from the person running them. Most of the difference is in what you never have to think about.

01

Ceremony

The least margin for error of any part of the day. I coordinate directly with your officiant, manage wireless microphone levels in real time, and cue every processional and recessional with precision. Your guests hear every word.

02

Cocktail Hour

Sets the tone for the reception before most guests realize it. Warm, conversational music at a volume where your people can actually talk, while the atmosphere builds toward the celebration ahead.

03

Reception

Where the night lives. The floor is read in real time and the energy moves through intentional musical progression. A dance floor stays full because the pacing was right, not because the volume was loud.

Investment

Most weddings invest between $4,000 and $5,500.

Every wedding is quoted on its own timeline, venue, and hours. Planning sessions and the full MC role are included in every package. Ceremony sound and uplighting are quoted alongside it so you can see what each one adds.

The Process

What working with me looks like

One of the most common questions couples have is not about the music. It is about the process. Here is how it works from first conversation to last dance.

01

The Consultation

A relaxed conversation about your day, your vision, and the moments that matter most to you. No sales pressure. No templates. I want to understand your celebration before I make any recommendations.

02

The Planning

You get access to Vibo, a structured planning tool for organizing your music preferences, timeline, and event details at your own pace, plus at least two planning calls. Nothing is left to chance.

03

The Coordination

In the weeks before your wedding I make sure all vendor and venue information is in order and the day-of timeline is clear. Your planner and venue hear from me directly, so nothing has to be relayed through you.

04

The Day

You enjoy your wedding. If something shifts on the timeline or needs adjusting in real time, it is handled quietly and correctly without pulling you into a decision.

Frequently asked

How far in advance should I book?

Wedding dates fill quickly, particularly in the spring and fall. Booking twelve to eighteen months in advance is recommended for peak season dates. If your date is sooner, reach out, and I will let you know what is available.

Do you take song requests?

Yes, within reason. Before your wedding, you will have the opportunity to share a do-not-play list and any must-have songs, both of which I honor without exception. On the night itself, guest requests are evaluated against the energy and flow of the floor at that moment. A request that fits the room gets played. A request that would disrupt the floor or derail the emotional arc of the night gets held or redirected. Your preferences always take priority.

What does the planning process look like?

After booking, you will receive access to Vibo, a planning tool that lets you organize your music preferences, timeline, and event details at your own pace. We also schedule at least two planning calls before your wedding to go through everything in detail.

Do you provide lighting?

Uplighting and basic lighting packages are available. Every setup includes professional audio and a clean, branded booth. If you have specific lighting needs, mention them during our initial conversation, and I can let you know what is possible.

What happens if there is an emergency and you cannot make it?

In the unlikely event of a true emergency, I maintain relationships within the professional DJ community and would work to secure a qualified replacement at the same standard. This has never happened, but it is a fair question and you deserve a straight answer.

Do you work with my planner and venue?

Yes, always. I connect with your planner and venue contact in advance to align on the timeline, load-in logistics, and any day-of details. A well-coordinated vendor team is part of what makes a wedding run smoothly.

Can you handle multicultural or bilingual weddings?

Yes. I have experience programming music across a wide range of cultural traditions and can blend multiple musical identities into a cohesive arc for the night. If your celebration includes specific cultural music, share that during our consultation and I will make sure it is represented with care. Please note that my MC work is conducted in English.

Are you available for destination weddings?

Yes. Standard travel extends up to 180 miles from the Finger Lakes region with no travel fee. Destination events beyond that range are accepted, and travel arrangements are discussed during the booking process.
