Every review here is tied to the venue the wedding happened at, so you can read what someone said and then go and read what I know about that room. Most are from couples, one is from the planner who ran the day. There are 15 of them, printed the way they were written.

“I worked as a banquet bartender during grad school. Between family weddings, friends and just observing I have probably been to 350+. Outside of rich people hiring Steve Aoki, no joke, DJ Steve is a top 3 DJ in my experience. Clean transitions. Won’t let drunk friends of bride or groom bully him off their set list.
And I saw him in Ithaca at a friend’s wedding. Dance floor was wide open but small crowd. He got EVERYONE on the floor dancing, packed in, for almost 2 hrs.

“We truly cannot say enough good things about Steven. While searching for a wedding DJ, I had a bit of a tall order and spoke to probably 15+ DJs before booking Steven. I wanted something a little non traditional for our wedding including a more ‘apres ski/EDM’ style of mixing, a different structure to the reception (no traditional first dance, parent dances, announcements etc) and lots of random requests that he happily made work for us.
Steven was so thorough and detailed in our meetings and made sure every detail was covered so he could do exactly what we wanted, and wow did he do exactly that!! Our wedding could not have been more fun, we had such an organic flow to our dinner, speeches, group couples dance and then dance floor. Our dance floor was packed non stop until the very end of the night, and when he announced our last song no one was ready for it to be over! He ended up staying another hour and a half and the party only continued on until the very end.
All of our guests were obsessed with his set and we got so many compliments on the music and his talent. I think the biggest compliment people gave was that he truly had so much fun with all of us and felt like a true part of the wedding, instead of a vendor just there to do a job. He had the biggest smile on his face all night and was such an amazing, fun addition on top of being the perfect DJ. Cannot recommend him enough, you will not be disappointed in how professional and FUN he is and we will forever be grateful for how perfect he made our wedding.”
