Wedding DJ in Geneva, NY
Wedding DJ and MC services in Geneva and around the north end of Seneca Lake. Planning sessions and the full MC role are part of every wedding I take, and there is no travel fee within 180 miles.
What Geneva weddings ask for
Geneva means wineries, and wineries mean outdoor ceremonies, wind across open water, and volume limits that matter more than couples expect. All three are planning problems rather than day-of problems.
Beyond that, the work is the same everywhere: a timeline we build together, confirmed with your planner, coordinator, or venue team in advance, and run on the day so that nothing lands on you. I arrive two and a half to three hours early as a structural decision rather than a variable.
A reception is run, not just soundtracked. The music matters, and so does the judgment behind when each moment happens.
Common questions
Do you travel to Geneva?
Yes, and there is no travel fee. Standard travel extends up to 180 miles from the Finger Lakes region, which covers Geneva and everywhere around it. Destination events beyond that range are accepted, with travel arranged per event.
Have you worked venues in the Geneva area?
Yes. Belhurst Castle, Climbing Bines, Colloca Estate Winery, Flatt Rock Wine Cellars, Seneca Ridge are among the venues I have already worked in and around Geneva. Knowing a room in advance means load-in, ceremony sound, and booth placement are settled before the day rather than on it.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak spring and fall Saturdays are usually claimed a year or more out, and my calendar currently extends into 2027. If your date matters, it is worth asking early even if the rest of your planning is not finished.
What does a wedding in this area typically cost?
Most weddings I work invest between $4,000 and $5,500. Every wedding is quoted on its own timeline, venue, and hours. Planning sessions and the full MC role are included in every package, with ceremony sound and uplighting quoted alongside.
We do not have a wedding planner. Is that a problem?
No. Some couples hire a planner, some hire a day-of coordinator, some rely on venue staff, and some have none of the above. I connect with whoever is involved in advance, and where there is no coordinator, the reception timeline is still mine to run so that role does not quietly become yours.
