I arrive two and a half to three hours early regardless. At a venue I already know, that margin goes toward testing and detail rather than orientation.

Many Finger Lakes properties do, particularly for outdoor ceremonies and receptions near residences. The number matters less than knowing it early. Ask your venue for the specific decibel limit, where it is measured, and whether indoor and outdoor limits differ.
Is the ceremony in a different space than the reception?
At most wineries and lakeside properties, yes. That means a second sound setup, a transition window, and a plan for moving guests. It is straightforward when it is planned and awkward when it is not. This is one of the first things I confirm.
Who is coordinating the day?

Can you work with the venue's in-house sound system?
Yes. I am comfortable working inside house systems or alongside a venue's AV team, and I bring a full professional setup with backup cabling and equipment as standard. Whichever the venue prefers, the integration is worked out before the day.
Do you charge extra to travel here?
No. Standard travel extends up to 180 miles from the Finger Lakes with no travel fee. Destination events beyond that are accepted, with travel arranged per event.
